Nike Art of Speed Compilation
Nike invited us and 14 other design studios from around the globe to produce video animation for their ‘Art of Speed’ Compilation. This was our first video animation. The music is written by Kabuki, 3D animation done by Fiftyeight.

>> AERODYNAMICS AND LIGHTWEIGHT. There is one element embodying speed, aerodynamics and lightweight – it is wind. Air in motion. Powerful. Fast. Invisible. Only traceable by its interaction with movable matter. In a visually abstract animation, wind is moving matter and shaping it by force. At first, nothing can withstand its powers – but soon the matter is developing energy of its own. Objects are taking the shape of an high-tech object, which resembles a sports shoe. By aerodynamic surface and independent kinetic powers this object is finally able to overcome the wind´s resistance and force.
